First I'll start by saying you should definitely be wearing something you don't really care about.
1. Take down your shower curtain, not the liner, just the curtain, unless the liner needs to be changed. Also grab the hand towel and the floor mat. Throw them all right into the washer. Hot water with soap on the quick cycle.
2. Grab all of your cleaning products. sponges, cleaning cloths, paper towels. Bleach, toilet soap, shower cleaner, floor cleaner, windex. Everything you need. Don't forget gloves, you mustn't mess up your manicure.
3. I start by taking everything out of the shower. Soap, shampoo, washcloths, loofas, whatever is in there. I throw the washcloths and loofas right into the wash with the shower curtain. I usually pile everything in the sink. I use a foaming shower cleaner so I spray everything in the shower all down really well. Don't forget faucets and drains. Let sit.
4. While it's sitting I squirt cleaning stuff in the toilet and spray down the outside with bleach. Let that sit.
5. Then I take my sponge, scrubby side down, and scrub the entire tub and shower, every little nook and cranny. Then I use my bleach and water solution to spray the shower head and wipe that with my wash cloth. Rinse everything down really well with hot water. Your washer may be finished by now so change the laundry over.
6. Then while that is drying I take down the things from the shelves above my toilet. Now is the time to throw away the items you haven't used since the last time you did this, or at least put it away under the sink. I wipe down every shelf and make sure all the dust is gone. Then I put back what I use every day.
7. Now I clean the toilet. I scrub the inside with the toilet brush, make sure you get under the lip, it tends to get yucky under there. Then I take a paper towel and wipe down the outside of the bowl, and all around the bottom where the floor meets, that's a place that the mop can't get really well. Then I wash the rim and seat with bleach and flush.
8. By now the shower is dry enough to put things back. So I wipe down the bottles cause they can build soap scum on them sometimes and I put them back. We have a little hand held mirror in our shower so I windex that too.
9. Now all that you should have left on the counter are the things that go there and maybe some cleaning products. Move everything over to your shiny toilet and spray down the sink(s) and counter. Let that sit for a minute and windex and wipe off the mirror. Don't forget the wipe the top they tend to get dusty.
10. Now scrub the sinks and counters, I wipe them dry with a paper towel too, but it's not necessary. Now you can put back what goes on the counter, make sure everything is wiped down. By now your floor mat and shower curtain should be dry and ready to be put back on.
11. Put these on and swiffer or mop the floor real quick and you now have a clean and shiny bathroom. Good Luck!!

Hi, Ho, Hi, Ho it's off to work I go
Good Morning!! Right now I'm sitting here drinking a glorious cup of coffee writing this post. It's very cloudy and blah today, but we'll make the best of it. So far today I have jogged for 30 minutes, made and ate breakfast, and now I'm enjoying a cup of coffee before I take my morning meds and jump into the shower, to wash the stink off, before my amazing boyfriend decides to run far away! For breakfast I ate a piece of cinnamon raisin bread with peanut butter, a strawberry, banana smoothie made with coconut almond milk, and 2 fried eggs fried in garlic EVOO. My tummy is very happy. I picked up a shift at work today so I will be there from 10-3 and then I'll come back here and give my mom a manicure and pedicure. I'm excited about that she desperately needs them. Well it looks like I need to get this day going. Have a great Day!!

A new modern day house girlfriend
Life for me day to day is made up of taking care of myself, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Taking care of my dog Duke, taking care of my boyfriend Chris and our house. Some days I work for a few hours outside our house, but most of the time I'm home working on other things. Today I decided to stay home and rest, a lot has been happening lately and I needed a little break. I certainly don't want to make myself sick. I slept in until about 11:30 today which was nice. The last couple of days I felt like my throat was becoming scratchy and I didn't know why. Today it feels better which is amazing. I have been trying to get my blood sugars under control lately and its not easy. It's almost a full time job in itself eating right, getting enough calories, and keeping my blood sugars around 100. I love working out and that makes things tough too. Yesterday I went to the gym in the morning my sugar was just above 100 when I went, I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and strength training, yesterday was arms day. I totaled about an hour all together. I came out and my sugar had gone up to 146. I was so confused. I'm researching that and I'll try to keep you updated. I was recently put on Advair for my seasonal allergies which has been great, I definitely feel much better. I guess they say God gives you what you can handle, he seriously must think I can handle a lot, "he" keeps piling it on and I am taking it in stride, mostly. Living with Cystic Fibrosis and Diabetes for me comes with a different perspective. I feel like I can handle a lot more then some people because for me when things get bad they are really bad, so the little things that some people view as catastrophic are really just bumps in the road. I'm very fortunate to think this way. I think, because I can focus on the positives in life and not feel like it's very difficult. Well it looks like its time to put the laundry away. I hope you have a great day!! <3
